Starting the 2026/2027 Academic Year, Adi Widyalaya Gautama organized a curriculum workshop aimed at strengthening the quality of education while ensuring that its curriculum remains responsive to students' educational needs. The workshop was held on Wednesday at the Adi Widyalaya Gautama School Building in Beji, Ngawen, Gunungkidul Regency.

The strategic event brought together a wide range of education stakeholders, consisting of Didik Widya Putra, Head of Hindu Community Guidance for the Special Region of Yogyakarta and the school's supervising official, representatives of the Dharma Giri Kencana Foundation and the Ciwa Graha Nusantara Foundation, Hindu Religious Counselors from Gunungkidul Regency, members of the school committee, parents, student representatives, and the management of Widyalaya Gunungkidul.

In his remarks, Didik Widya Putra commended the strong collaboration and shared commitment demonstrated by all stakeholders in advancing a high-quality Hindu education ecosystem. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting the development of Hindu educational institutions.

"Education is the cornerstone of nurturing future generations with strong character and noble values. Hindu Community Guidance will continue to stand at the forefront of supporting the advancement of widyalaya through improved facilities, enhanced learning quality, and human resource development. With a spirit of collaboration, we are confident that Adi Widyalaya Gautama will continue to grow into an outstanding educational institution and a source of pride for the community," he said.

A similar commitment was expressed by Sri Purwati, S.Ag., M.Pd.H., Head of the Ciwa Graha Nusantara Foundation, who affirmed the foundation's full support for the school's development initiatives, particularly its flagship programs that define the institution's identity.

"This curriculum workshop is a crucial opportunity to strengthen the school's identity and flagship programs. The foundation remains fully committed to supporting every effort to enhance educational quality so that Adi Widyalaya Gautama can nurture a generation of Hindu students who are knowledgeable, culturally grounded, and well prepared to meet future challenges," she said.

Meanwhile, Vidha Puri Santoso, S.Pd., Principal of Adi Widyalaya Gautama, outlined the school's academic management framework. She explained that the school currently implements Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum, integrated with Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta to promote holistic student development.

"This workshop is intended to familiarize the entire school community with the curriculum structure. It also serves as a collaborative forum to design, evaluate, and continuously refine the curriculum so that it remains aligned with national education standards while responding to the school's actual needs," Vidha explained.

For the 2026/2027 Academic Year, Adi Widyalaya Gautama, which operates under the auspices of the Ciwa Graha Nusantara Foundation, is providing education to 11 students from Ngawen and surrounding areas.

As a tangible demonstration of its commitment to ensuring access to basic education, the workshop also featured the presentation of educational scholarships from the Ciwa Graha Nusantara Foundation to the students. Through this comprehensive initiative, the school aims to strengthen collaboration among the school community, the foundation, parents, and the government in advancing Hindu education that is adaptive, high-quality, and firmly rooted in the noble values of Dharma.
