The fourth Pujawali celebration at Pura Agung Satya Bhuana on Friday was not only a religious ritual but also a meaningful occasion to strengthen togetherness and harmony within the community. The event, attended by the Director General of Hindu Community Guidance, was conducted in a solemn atmosphere and actively involved community participation, reflecting both spiritual depth and social significance.
In his Dharma Wacana, the Director General of Hindu Community Guidance, I Nengah Duija, expressed appreciation to all members of the Hindu community who had carried out the Pujawali series in an orderly and devout manner. He emphasized that the celebration is not only an expression of devotion to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, but also a means of strengthening unity among the community.
“Pujawali is not only an act of devotion to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, but also a moment to reinforce togetherness and harmony within society. I commend the Hindu community at Pura Agung Satya Bhuana for conducting this ceremony with such solemnity and unity,” he stated.
He also appreciated the various cultural performances presented as part of the ceremony. These performances are not merely entertainment, but carry spiritual meaning and positive values that enrich the religious experience of the community.
In his address, Prof. Duija also delivered the message of the Minister of Religious Affairs regarding the concept of the “Kurikulum Cinta” He explained that this concept emphasizes the importance of religious education grounded in love rather than hatred. This approach aims to cultivate individuals who respect differences, strengthen tolerance, and foster harmony in social life.
“As conveyed by the Minister of Religious Affairs through the Kurikulum Cinta, religious education must be rooted in love. From this foundation, we build mutual respect, strengthen tolerance, and create a harmonious life within diversity,” he added.
Furthermore, the Director General stressed that education should not focus solely on the transfer of knowledge, but must also build character, empathy, and social awareness. Kurikulum Cibta is presented as a response to contemporary challenges, including rising intolerance and the potential for social conflict, by placing the value of love at the core of the learning process.
Through the Pujawali celebration, the Director General expressed hope that the values of compassion, unity, and harmony will continue to be upheld and practiced in daily life by all members of the Hindu community.
