An atmosphere of emotion and pride filled the Farewell Ceremony for Students of Pratama Widyalaya Saraswati, held at Banyumili Garden on Friday. The farewell marked the completion of the students’ learning journey and served as the starting point for them to continue to higher levels of education.
The ceremony was enlivened by various artistic performances presented by the students, including the traditional Jaranan dance. The performance not only entertained invited guests but also served as tangible evidence of the school’s success in nurturing appreciation for local arts and culture as an integral part of character development from an early age.
Principal of Pratama Widyalaya Saraswati, Wuryanti, S.Pd., expressed gratitude for the smooth execution of the event and conveyed her highest appreciation to the students’ parents for the trust they had placed in the school.
“The trust given by parents is a precious responsibility for us. Thank you for the cooperation and support that have been built over the years. May the knowledge, character values, and educational foundation gained at this school become valuable provisions for the future of our children,” said Wuryanti.
The Chairman of Satya Saraswati Foundation, Wasiyo, S.Ag., members of the teaching staff, parents, and Hindu Religious Counselor of Pekalongan Regency, Kusnaeni, S.Sos are attending the farewell ceremony.
In his remarks, Wasiyo emphasized that cultivating good behavior from an early age is the primary foundation of character building. According to him, children who are accustomed to positive behavior from a young age will grow into adaptive individuals with strong life skills and the ability to face future challenges with integrity.
Meanwhile, Hindu Religious Counselor Kusnaeni expressed appreciation for the rapid development of Pratama Widyalaya Saraswati, which has now officially attained Widyalaya status and earned a Grade B accreditation. She stated that this achievement is the result of collective effort and strong synergy among the foundation, educators, parents, the community, and full support from the Hindu Community Guidance Office of Central Java Province.
“This success is the result of our collective hard work. Strong synergy among all stakeholders is a crucial asset in building quality Hindu education,” said Kusnaeni.
Amid the dynamics of modern times, Pratama Widyalaya Saraswati remains committed to being a place for shaping individuals grounded in Dharma. The institution is designed not merely as a place to develop academic skills such as reading, writing, and arithmetic, but also as a center for nurturing a generation that is courteous, creative, and socially caring.
Through quality education, the school is expected to continue serving as an important pillar in producing future generations who are intelligent and competitive, while remaining firmly rooted in religious values and noble character.
