Pasraman Kilat 2026 Prepares Hindu Youth with Character Education, Environmental Awareness, and AI Literacy

Pasraman Non Formal Radite Widya Jepara is equipping the next generation of Hindus with strong character, environmental responsibility, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy through the implementation of Pasraman Kilat 2026. The program reflects the institution's commitment to developing a generation that is deeply rooted in Hindu values while remaining adaptive to rapid technological advancement.

Held under the theme REVOLUSI (Religius, Kompak, Peduli Lingkungan dan Berprestasi) —an acronym for Religious, United, Environmentally Conscious, and High-Achieving—the program brought together dozens of sisya (students) from kindergarten through senior high school. A variety of educational activities were designed to deepen religious understanding, strengthen leadership skills, foster collaboration, and cultivate integrity among participants.

Head of Pasraman Non Formal Radite Widya Jepara, Dwi Astuti, S.Pd.H., explained that the REVOLUSI theme was chosen as the foundation for shaping the character of young Hindus, enabling them to navigate social and technological changes without losing their cultural and spiritual identity.

“REVOLUSI is more than just a slogan; it represents the values we strive to instill in every sisya. Through Pasraman Kilat, we hope to nurture a generation that is religious, united, environmentally responsible, and capable of achieving excellence according to each individual's potential,” she said.

In addition to strengthening participants' understanding of Hindu teachings through various educational activities, the program encouraged them to put the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana into practice by participating in environmental conservation efforts, including cleaning the temple and pasraman grounds. The students also joined group yoga sessions to promote physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual balance.

Responding to the challenges of the digital era, Pasraman Kilat also introduced a technology literacy session focusing on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Participants learned how AI can be utilized wisely, safely, productively, and ethically as a tool for learning, creativity, and innovation while remaining guided by moral values and ethical principles.

Representing the Radite Widya Dharma Jepara Foundation, Indarningsih emphasized that successful character education requires strong collaboration between educational institutions and families.

“Religious education must continue at home. When pasraman and families work hand in hand, children will grow into individuals who are faithful, morally upright, compassionate toward others, and capable of making meaningful contributions to themselves and the Hindu community,” she said.

Chairperson of the Jepara Regency Chapter of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI), Ngarbianto, also expressed appreciation for Pasraman Radite Widya's consistent commitment to providing holistic education that integrates spiritual development, character building, environmental stewardship, and the competencies needed to face an ever-changing world.

“These children are the future of the Hindu community. They must grow into a generation that is religious, united in brotherhood, committed to protecting the environment, and capable of achieving excellence so they are well prepared to face the challenges of the future,” he said.

Through Pasraman Kilat 2026, Pasraman Non Formal Radite Widya Jepara hopes to nurture a generation of Hindus with strong character, integrity, environmental awareness, technological literacy, and the capacity to make meaningful contributions to the Hindu community, society, the nation, and the state. The initiative reflects the shared commitment of Hindu educational institutions to preparing future generations who are spiritually grounded, socially responsible, and ready to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
