The Hindu Religious Affairs Organizer of Central Lampung Regency, Dewa Gede Raka Ananta, alongside with Hindu Religious Counselors, attended Pujawali Ceremony at Pura Jagat Karana on Sunday. The sacred event took place at Pura Jagat Karana, located in Rama Dewa Village, Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency.

Pujawali of Pura Jagat Karana is an annual religious observance held during Purnama Sasih Kadasa according to the Hindu calendar. The ceremony serves as an important occasion for Hindu devotees to deepen their sradha (faith) and bhakti (devotion) to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa while praying for safety, prosperity, and well-being for the wider community.

This year's celebration was conducted in a solemn and harmonious atmosphere. The event was also attended by I Komang Koheri, Acting Regent of Central Lampung. Representatives of Hindu organizations, religious leaders, community leaders, and Hindu devotees from various parts of the regency also participated in the ceremony.

The attendance of government officials, religious institutions, and members of the Hindu community reflected strong collaboration in promoting social harmony and supporting regional development based on spiritual values and communal solidarity.

In his remarks, Acting Regent I Komang Koheri encouraged all Hindus and residents of Central Lampung to continue fostering unity and togetherness in building the region. He emphasized that the progress of Central Lampung can only be achieved through the collective efforts of all segments of society, regardless of ethnic, religious, or social backgrounds.

“Through this Pujawali celebration, let us strengthen our sense of brotherhood and solidarity. I invite all members of the community to unite, work together, and contribute according to their respective roles for the advancement of our beloved Central Lampung Regency,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Dewa Gede Raka Ananta expressed his appreciation for the active participation of the Hindu community and the support provided by the local government for Hindu religious activities. He explained that Pura Jagat Karana serves not only as a center for spiritual development but also as a venue for strengthening brotherhood and social harmony within the community.

“Pujawali is not merely an occasion for worship and an expression of devotion to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. It is also a valuable opportunity to strengthen brotherhood, reinforce harmony, and cultivate the spirit of mutual cooperation within society. We hope that through this celebration, Hindus will become even more steadfast in practicing the teachings of dharma and continue making positive contributions to regional development,” said Dewa Gede Raka Ananta.

He further affirmed the commitment of the Hindu Religious Affairs Office and Hindu Religious Counselors to continuously enhance religious guidance and services for the community, ensuring that Hindu values can be effectively implemented in everyday life.

“Together with our Hindu Religious Counselors, we remain committed to accompanying and supporting the community through various religious guidance programs. Through strengthening sradha and bhakti, we hope to foster a harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous society,” he added.

Pujawali ceremonies run well, beginning with congregational prayers and concluding with a Dharma discourse and fellowship among devotees, religious leaders, and invited guests. A strong sense of family, togetherness, and mutual respect characterized the event throughout its entirety.

Through the celebration of Pujawali at Pura Jagat Karana, it is hoped that the values of dharma, unity, and mutual cooperation will continue to flourish within society, contributing to a harmonious community and supporting the sustainable development of Central Lampung Regency in the years ahead.
